Are Nifflers Real?
As potter-heads, we love nifflers. If you don't don't know what that is, it's basically a platypus, with a long little nose and webbed feet. Everybody thought that they weren't real, until Buzzfeed posted an article. (Link to article down below) The article read about a type of echidna, which is another monotreme. The type is called a puggle, which we guess is a baby echidna. But, the puggle looks JUST LIKE A NIFFLER. Theoretically, the author of the Harry Potter series J. K. Rowling based her creature on these lovable floofs. In fact, the resemblance of a niffler and a puggle is almost identical. What if J. K. Rowling meant for puggles and nifflers to be together? *GASP* Did we just make a conspiracy theory?
