I didn't choose to become princess!

As if any girl in the world had a choice. Look. I used to be a confident girl. I wore men's armor, and rode around on my horse, Wisp. And? I was perfectly normal!

Oh, but it turns out, my tomboy live wouldn't stay. 

Every day, my father would leave for work. He had a very small paying job-it barely set food on the table. He was at work all the time. He was a hard worker.

Or... so I thought.

Turns out, he had fallen in love with a young woman. And each day he "went to work," he was really dating this person! Can you believe that?

My real mom died giving birth to me. I guess I never expected Father to love another person. I was wrong. Not only did he like this lady, he loved her. One day, he proposed. Mind you, I hadn't even known about his fiance. 

When he told me, I was a bit mad he hadn't told me earlier. Although, I was happy to have siblings! 

A few days after Father got engaged, he met up with the lady. She had a secret: she was the queen in disguise! 

That only could mean one thing, and one thing only: I had to throw away my old life, and start a new one. But this time, I was princess.
